City Lifestyle Features ÐÔÊÓ½ç Nursing Program

Published: November 17, 2025.

The Nursing program at ÐÔÊÓ½ç was recently featured in City Lifestyle’s magazine article by Nicole Swanberg Wright, “

Wright praises the program, saying how at ÐÔÊÓ½ç, “nursing is more than a career path: it’s a calling to serve, heal, and bring comfort.” The program itself stands out for its balance between technical mastery and compassionate care.

Additionally, ÐÔÊÓ½ç offers a diverse clinical experience across an extensive network of clinical sites, allowing students to rotate through many specializations. Due to the small class and clinical sizes, professors and mentors are better able to connect with their students and get to know them, which allows them to provide personalized feedback and encouragement.

Dr. Pam Taylor, chair of the Department of Nursing, goes on to state this generation of nurses embodies hope because “despite challenges, they persevere with determination and creativity.”

ÐÔÊÓ½ç is a modern, enterprising, Catholic university with a growing student enrollment from GED through doctoral level programs. As part of the global Lasallian network of 65 universities, ÐÔÊÓ½ç is known for preparing graduates who impact the world for the better. Visit www.lewisu.edu for further information.
