Save the Date for January 21 Ribbon Cutting in Chicago

All are invited to celebrate the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the new Nursing and Pharmacy Technician Labs at ÐÔÊÓ½ç in Chicago. The festivities begin at 6 p.m. January 21 at the Uptown location, 1345 W. Argyle Street.
The new labs will provide interprofessional education and lab training experiences across the College of Nursing and Health Sciences programs, such as the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Medical Assistant, Pharmacy Technician and Respiratory Therapy programs.
For example, Nursing students would have lab training experiences with Respiratory Therapy, Medical Assistant, and Pharmacy Technician. The interprofessional experiences fulfill required competencies and simulate real-world experiences in a healthcare team as they look to enter the workforce.
The new lab enables the to be offered at the new Chicago location. Students will experience the same rigorous curriculum, expert faculty, and hands-on clinical training as ÐÔÊÓ½ç’ other accelerated nursing program locations. Students at the Chicago location can take advantage of a unique benefit: the option to be part of St. Augustine College’s bilingual program for primary Spanish speakers who want to master English, and can start in Spanish and finish in English

provides students with the skills and knowledge needed to work in retail and hospital pharmacies, assisting pharmacists in medication dispensing, inventory management, and patient care. It is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and approved by the Illinois Board of Higher Education.
offers students the training needed to work as a respiratory therapist in hospitals, home care, pulmonary clinics, and other healthcare environments. In addition to learning diagnostic and therapeutic skills and procedures, students receive hands-on training in a variety of patient care-focused Chicagoland leading medical facilities and long-term care centers.
