May 2026 Cap & Gown Information

The deadline to order your cap and gown is April 15, 2026. Candidates are responsible for the shipping fee and tax for their cap and gown. The shipping fee is $14.90 plus tax for orders placed by the deadline. You must order your cap and gown through: .

Ceremonies

College & Ceremony Confirmation

You may confirm your college through your Degree Works (DW) status bar and/or your advisor. Additionally, your e-tickets will be issued under your correct ceremony.

Ceremony Participation Guidelines for Mau 2026 Candidates

May candidates must have a ‘Clear Except Final Grades’ or ‘Cleared for Graduation’ DW status by April 10, 2026 to participate in the ceremony. E-ticketing details are available on the commencement webpage.

Candidates must order their cap & gown through the ÐÔÊÓ½ç site. Graduation candidates are required to have their December 2025 ÐÔÊÓ½ç, cap and gown to participate in commencement ceremonies.

Financial Policy

ÐÔÊÓ½ç policy requires that a student account must be clear before tickets are available for the ceremony. You may check your account balance through your myÐÔÊÓ½ç portal – STUDENT ACCOUNT.

Cap & Gown

Your graduation processing fee includes your cap & gown whether you attend your ceremony or not. Candidates are responsible for the shipping fee and tax for their cap & gown. The shipping fee is $14.90 plus tax. Candidates will be required to pay this fee at the time of their cap & gown order. To avoid late fees, order your cap & gown before April 15, 2026. The Office of the Registrar does not process late cap and gown orders. Students who miss the ordering deadline will need to contact Myles Olson at mcolson@herffjones.com to order their late cap & gown. They will incur an expediting fee and will also be required to pick-up their cap and gown on the day of graduation.
