Community Connections at ÐÔÊÓ½ç (CCLU)

In collaboration with the Disability Resource Center (DRC) in Joliet, CEEL hosts Community Connections at ÐÔÊÓ½ç (CCLU). CCLU supports young adults in expanding independent living and career-related, social-emotional, and academic skills through twice-weekly engagement on ÐÔÊÓ½ç University’s campus. The program is taught by DRC staff in collaboration with ÐÔÊÓ½ç faculty and students and provides participants with opportunities to engage in the life of the university.

Community Connections at ÐÔÊÓ½ç (CCLU) is hosted by Community Engagement and Experiential Learning in collaboration with the Disability Resource Center (DRC). CCLU supports young adults in expanding independent living skills through career-related, social-emotional, and academic skill-building activities.

Participants meet on the ÐÔÊÓ½ç campus twice a week to engage in classroom learning and participate in university life, including special events and student organizations. The program is taught by DRC staff in collaboration with ÐÔÊÓ½ç faculty and students.
